There are many achievements in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Some are mandatory for the main storyline, while many require side quests or specific conditions to unlock. Below is a comprehensive achievement unlock guide brought to you by “LinfengX,” which we hope will be useful for everyone.
Page 1: Abstinence
The achievement “Abstinence” requires you to complete the entire game without killing animals or consuming meat. This is quite a challenging achievement, as it directly eliminates hunting gameplay and the freedom of eating meat! You cannot kill any animals such as chickens, cows, sheep, dogs, or wolves. In the game, wolves and dogs will actively attack you, but you can knock them out with your fists or simply run away. You must avoid eating anything that resembles meat; however, you can drink the broth or porridge available in the pot. You can track these two statistics in the game; if you accidentally kill or eat meat, you will have to reload your game.
- Player Statistics → Combat → Number of Animals Killed
- Player Statistics → General → Number of Meals Consumed
Page 2: Well-Rounded
The achievement “Well-Rounded” is said to require you to complete about 95% of the main and side quests, which feels significantly more demanding compared to the first game. To be safe, prioritize completing side quests, as progressing in the main storyline may lead to some side quests failing or becoming unavailable. When exploring new areas, make sure to engage in conversations with tavern owners and local residents; avoid random killings, especially of named NPCs. You can freely kill bandits or Cumans. If you fail any quests, simply reload your saved game.
In this chapter, you will face Capon after a training session. Equip your padded helmet and wooden sword for a simple practice before the dueling begins. Defeating him is quite easy; the key is to perfect your block, then counterattack. Wait for him to make the first move, then block to trigger a perfect block (indicated by a green shield). After blocking, quickly strike at his weak side for a high probability of hitting him. You can follow up with several combos to drain his stamina. If he attacks, just block. If you run low on stamina yourself, retreat to recover before launching another attack. Keep an eye on his attacks, and remember that the combat in this installment remains quite simple. If you fail or miss your shot, you can always reload your game - ask Hans about our itinerary after the duel.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Not a Good Omen
This chapter revolves around achieving objectives. After being captured during a tavern dispute, Henry and Capon are subjected to harsh treatment. Capon, not even willing to help me move some flour, completely collapses under pressure. How can a noble lady handle this? Henry seems much more composed. He's spent so much time in the Latay prison that this little neck restraint feels like a fresh experience for him!
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - A Temporary Truce
This side quest titled [Frog and Mouse Grudge] requires the completion of any prerequisite quest to trigger it. You must complete one of the following prerequisite side quests: [Frog] or [Mouse] to initiate the [Frog and Mouse Grudge].
Side quest locations:
- Frog: Zelechov - Olbram
- Mouse: Tahof - Innkeeper Prochek
Note: If you completed the [Frog and Mouse Feud] side quest, then the incomplete [Frog]/[Mouse] side quests will fail, and if they were not taken, they can no longer be accepted. Additionally, if you explain to the other party that this is a prank, it will also lead to their quest line failing.
- Complete the [Frog]/[Mouse] quest to find the person to take the quest. You can ask him what your next step is to trigger the [Frog and Mouse Feud] side quest.
- Since I completed [Frog] first, I will use this for demonstration. Choose “Don't you want to reconcile?” — “First, I will try to resolve this conflict.” Then you can complete optional tasks. Do not select options like “Alright, let's go to the farm” or “Let's meet Lady Tahof” since this will forcibly lead to a conflict narrative that cannot be reconciled. (I noticed that the dialogue options changed meaning when I reloaded a save, but the triggered content did not change.)
- Go to Troskewitz to talk with Governor Serush. Persuade him by selecting: “In the end, you will have much more peace.” If persuasion fails, choose: “Von Pohl will reward you” and continue with further persuasion. My reading level was only level 5, so I couldn't persuade him, which is why I had to read the chronicles without permission.
- Go to the Troskewitz Town Hall to read the chronicles. This place can be entered without being expelled during the day, but not at night. Inside, to the left, there is another door leading inside where a green book is on the shelves. Flip to the end where there is a passage in Latin that needs translation (remember the general appearance of this Latin text). Find the scribe Gaebel who is sitting nearby. If he's not there, press T to pass the time until he arrives for dialogue. Choose the correct Latin text, and he will tell you: “With the aid of an iron nail, order was brought to the region.”
Next, we need to find the location of the iron nails. The location is within the circled search area marked on the map. Look closely at a small nail on the middle tree and rotate your view. Press E to investigate it; there’s no need to take it down.
Then, return to Troskowitz to talk to the governor, Seru. Inform him that you have found the boundary stakes. This stubborn governor will curse you because I previously talked to him without persuading him and checked the chronicle without his consent. This time, I must choose to persuade him. With my 8 points in eloquence, it should be easy. Do not choose the option to tell him to get lost; that will result in failure. (The damn governor must clear his house tonight.)
Finally, you can find the contact person and choose: “Alright, let’s go to the farm.” Before the conflict occurs at the farm, the governor will come over and ask: “Is it time for reconciliation?” You can resolve the conflict here.
The Knight's Oath
Once you have 150 Groschen, return to the plot and thank the elderly woman who saved your life. The alchemy table is located just below Zheleyev. Capon said he would reward her as a knight, but I rewarded her as a beggar.
Position of the Medicinal Herb: Four-Leaf Bellflower
In the southern forests of Tahof, near the waterfall, there are many of these herbs. They look like ordinary weeds, and I almost lost my mind searching for them.
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, you will embark on an adventure filled with quests and achievements. Below, we cover the secondary quests that will help you unlock major achievements throughout the game. Always remember to follow the storylines closely, as they may lead you to hidden treasures and unique experiences.
Page 7: An Old Friend
An Old Friend: You found the little gray.
The little gray can be found at Semi's horse merchant, located south of Zeleznow. You can either purchase it or persuade Semi to return it for free. I’m emotional since I finally have a horse! It’s said that if the little gray is ridden for a long time, it becomes quite strong. This time, I will not sell my old companion again.
Page 8: Man's Best Friend
Man's Best Friend: You successfully found and rescued Didi.
Side Quest: [Didi]
Completing this side quest unlocks an achievement. This side quest is relatively long, so it is best to do it after securing a horse.
- Follow the quest instructions to arrive at the cliff where the previous incident occurred. After investigating, proceed nearby to find the kind-hearted old lady, Bozena. There is not much information to gather along the way!
- Next, follow the instructions to find the innkeeper, fisherman, and shepherd. During the shepherd quest, you will encounter wolves. We cannot kill any animals, so we have to set aside our weapons and use our feet to knock the wolves unconscious. When the wolves attack, you can use perfect defense and retaliate, kicking the wolves to the ground. Continue with a series of kicks to keep attacking. If the wolf gets knocked down and doesn’t get up, do not execute it as that will count as a kill. Also, if you hit it with a weapon and it falls, that too will count as a kill. This mission will eventually be interrupted when you rescue the gamekeeper at the hunting grounds.
- If you want to continue exploring the fate of [Didi], you must first complete the [Follower] side quest and find the hunter, Vostak. He is located to the left of Takhov. At the location I am at, there is a building nearby where you can speak with the hunter’s wife to accept the quest. Then find the hunter’s son, Vitek, to learn more about the whereabouts. Since I didn’t convince him, I was able to spend 20 Groschen to get information regarding the hunter's location.
If you have no money, you can rescue the hunter at the location shown in the picture below. You'll encounter many wolves, so use the kick combo to take down the wolves and save the hunter.
Carry the hunter around until you finally reach his camp, where he will ask you to find out what happened to his horse. Eventually, you'll find the horse at the poacher's camp. There are three melee bandits and two archers at the camp, which makes it quite challenging. Alternatively, you can choose to sneak in around 1 AM to ride out quickly, or you can take them out while they are asleep to steal their equipment.
After bringing the horse back, you'll return to the hunter's house and complete the side quest [Fellow]. At this point, you can talk to the hunter to find out the final location of the target! However, there are many wolves here, so don't forget that there are valuable items in the cave.
Achievements Guide for Breaking Shields
Achievement Unlocked: "Open Gate": You have broken the enemy's shield.
I accidentally completed this during a battle while using a longsword. If you encounter a shielded bandit during a quest, you might want to save your game first. Prioritize attacking the shield direction until the shield durability drops to zero. Using heavy weapons like a mace, axe, or war hammer makes it easier to break shields. There's also a skill called "Shieldbreaker" that you can unlock.
Achievements Guide for Stylish Combat
Achievement Unlocked: "Stylish Combat": You have killed an enemy with a combo.
In the game, you can see the moves you have learned under the combo section. To execute a combo, you simply need to attack in the direction indicated by the move list three times in a row. It's quite easy!
You have defeated the strongest fighter in the area.
Side Quest: The Grand Finale
Preceding Side Quest: Red Wine, Women, and Blood. To trigger this side quest, you need 100 Groschen.
Requirements: Progress the main quest to Invitation to the Wedding - Find a Way to Enter the Wedding.
- Visit the Zebroyev Horse Station and locate the innkeeper Laurence (a new white quest marker will appear nearby). Pay 100 Groschen to participate in the competition (if you don't have enough money, complete the task the innkeeper gives you to visit Semik Mill, find the miller Koletz, and accept the side quest Mill Brawling. Completing it rewards you with 125 Groschen).
- After defeating all opponents, return to the innkeeper Laurence to claim your reward, which will lead you to the side quest The Grand Finale. He will inform you that a fighting master resides in Kopani.
- Head to the location and defeat the herbalist Barnaby to unlock an achievement and become the strongest fighter in the area! (Both my fighting and strength were around 10 points, making it quite easy. If you find it challenging, consider leveling up first.)
Jack of All Trades in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
You have successfully completed every mini-game.
- Dice: You can find dice games at roadside camps and various taverns. At the Zebroyev Horse Station tavern, there are often players waiting at the dice table after 10 PM. If no one is there, you can press T to pass the time until someone shows up.
- Lockpicking: To pick locks on chests, press and hold E. It’s unusual to play this game without picking locks.
- Picking Pockets: You can hold E to pickpocket someone from behind. You need to actually steal something to count. It’s an old tradition!
- Alchemy: You have already brewed once during the main quest. Some towns will have alchemy tables, such as in Troskovec.
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, players can enhance their skills through various activities. Here are some tips to help you excel in the game.
Essential Skills to Develop
- Archery: You need a bow or crossbow to participate in archery contests, which can be found at roadside camps on the map. One specific location is near the Viderak Lake, where you can join the archery competition at the house of Hunter Vostak. If the on-screen reticle is available, the contest will be straightforward, allowing you to earn some money early on.
- Sharpening: Look for sharpening wheels located near blacksmiths or carpenters. Simply use these to sharpen your weapons.
- Forging: In Talmberg, you can find blacksmith Lavandona, where you will follow the storyline to forge a sword.
Page 13: Surviving Execution
Surviving Execution: Your eloquence allows you to evade execution once. After committing a crime and receiving branding, committing another will lead to execution, which can be avoided by persuading the guards that you are innocent through your charisma or intimidation.
Punishment Levels: Stocks → Whipping → Branding → Execution
To successfully persuade the guards, you will need a dialog attribute of 20 or higher, increasing your chances of success. It's better to complete this in the later stages of the game. I managed to accomplish this quite early before attending the wedding, with my charisma attribute showing 23. I hadn't consumed any potions, wore pre-order rewards or loot gear, and sported a charisma-boosting ring. My skill points were distributed among the character's commoner skill (+1 charisma), survival's floral power (+2 charisma), and dog training's charming companion (+3 charisma).
Before preparing to commit a crime, visit the bathhouse to clean your clothes. Save your game, and then you can initiate a killing spree in the streets. I chose Troskowitz, targeting a male or female servant as they are easier to kill. Named NPCs might be indestructible. Once someone reports you and the guards arrive, surrender to receive your punishment. Endure the branding, then save again to commit murder, as a failed persuasion might occur. This way, when the dialog shows execution (represented by a noose icon), persuading the guards will allow you to evade the execution!
Page 14: Shining Medal
Shining Medal: You earned a gold medal in a dice game.
This can be obtained during the main quest The Banquet Path. When the wedding mission progresses to the Royal Steward telling you to find Kvyta, you can find the officer Serush in the dark house to the right of the big tree. Participate in the dice competition and defeat the tavern owner Betty to receive the gold wedding medallion achievement.
Page 15: Blood Victory
Blood Victory: You won three small-scale battles while bleeding.
You don’t need to do this intentionally. During battles, getting hit has a chance to cause bleeding. There's a small red drop icon left of the weapon icon when you're bleeding. You just need to win while bleeding. It seems that battles with 3-4 enemies or more count as small-scale battles.

閃耀獎牌 | 在一場骰子游戲中獲得了金牌。 |
血戰得勝 | 在流血的情況下打贏了三次小規模戰鬥。 |
絕世巧手 | 撬開了最難撬的鎖。 |
To pick extremely difficult locks, you need at least a Thievery level of 23, which can be quite challenging. I achieved this while having only a Thievery level of 16 by utilizing skills like [Drunk - Boozer's Luck +4 Thievery] and [Thievery - Mischief Artist +3 Thievery], bringing my total to 23. Additionally, I invested in the [Thievery - Tools Master, Lockpick Durability +15%] skill. Reaching Crafting level 12 allows you to unlock [Crafting - Locksmith +3 Thievery when picking locks]. To illustrate this, you can reference Troskoveck and attempt to steal from the tailor's shop. Before picking the lock, I activated [Boozer's Luck], and after successfully unlocking the door, I triggered [Mischief Artist], leading me to the extremely difficult chest within.
Boozer's Luck Skill Guide: When in a slightly tipsy state, you gain +4 to Thievery. This image shows what it looks like to be halfway through the intoxication process, yielding only +2 to Thievery. Thus, you need to manage your drinking properly to reach the desired +4.
To reach +4, carefully monitor your drinking; consuming too much will lead to a state of drunkenness.
After drinking, press T to pass some time while keeping an eye on your progress bar. When it moves slightly, quickly press ESC to cancel, which efficiently boosts your drunkenness progress bar. It is advisable to consume beer with low alcohol content for better control over the number of drinks you can have. Be cautious, as potions also contain alcohol.
- Gin: 20% alcohol
- Mead: 15% alcohol
- Wine: 10% alcohol
- Homemade Liquor: 10% alcohol
- Beer: 5% alcohol
Table of Skills for Lockpicking
When you arrive inside the Neibakov fortress and can move freely, near the dice table, you'll see the location in the image below. There are two gates at the stairs, the black door above allows you to stealthily enter and grab the prison key, while the wooden door below leads to the prison (you cannot wait until night for this segment; the Kapón meeting will finish around 2:30 PM, after which you'll be expelled, so seize the moment!)
First, take advantage of the area being empty and go to the black door above. Open the door and immediately close it. There is another door in front of you; open it to steal the prison key from the table.
Next, you need to enter the prison. There is always a guard in front of the door, so you must find a way to throw a stone behind him to lure him away. First, go to the kitchen by the side of the dice table; inside, there is another door to the left. Go through to find a passage that leads to behind the prison guard. Crouch down and throw a stone in front of him; he will walk forward, allowing you to slip through and open the prison door. Once inside, turn around and close the door, then talk to the red-clad prisoner. You will discover an astonishing secret, and after the conversation, you will unlock an achievement.
Afterward, don't forget to find the herbalist Clara. Going out with her can lead to adventures.
Necessary Evil
During the interrogation, you must use the "About your camp" option to coerce the prisoner into revealing the bandit hideout in Bacow. Based on my attributes, Coerce 11 fails every time, while Coerce 17 succeeds every time. Once you have the achievement "Old Crow," you will know the hideout is in Bacow and can ask anything during the interrogation.
Post-Interrogation Dialogue
After the interrogation, speak with Kapon and select "Semy's matter should remain confidential" (it's okay if you don't choose it).
Reporting Results
When reporting the interrogation results to Von Polgau, you cannot choose “Semy is colluding with the bandits.” Instead, select “Bandits in Bacow” followed by “No one helped the bandits.” This will only send troops to Bacow, ending the mission and earning the achievement. If you haven’t revealed the hideout's location, there will still be an assault on Semy, earning you the achievement “Old Crow.” As long as you don’t select “Semy is colluding with the bandits,” any choice is fine. Even if you do not reveal the hideout, there won't be a raid on Semy.
Fun Fact: If you previously informed that Semy left his own wedding, Von Polgau will be very suspicious, making it difficult to persuade him not to take action against Semy.

Revenge:
Essential for the main storyline: Storm is Coming. Before reaching the top of the tower, you can kill the guard to obtain a nice piece of armor. This will make the cutscene look much better.
