How to Successfully Win Over Rosa in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
In the captivating world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Rosa Luster is one of the appealing female characters that players can pursue. To successfully win Rosa's heart, players need to carefully navigate dialogue choices that increase her affection, complete her side quest titled Rosa's Book, and rescue her from Otto von Pohl. Doing so will allow players to initiate a date with her during the main quest 24: The Prayers casually.
Rosa is a pivotal romance option within Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and timing is essential in this intricate plot. The main key to success lies in selecting dialogue options that boost Rosa's affection towards the protagonist. Make sure to engage in her side quest, Rosa's Book, efficiently during the main quest 18: The Farewell. This quest is quite easy to miss; thus, it's crucial to find her book while rescuing Hans at the Malyshov Fortress and return to Rosa immediately after. If too much time elapses, she will move to another location, making it impossible to complete the task and pursue the romance.
Another critical point is to conquer the head chef and obtain the room keys to move freely around the castle without the need to pick locks. Sneak into the tower by heading south along the walls and using the east wooden staircase. It’s best to distract guards with stones and wear light clothing to avoid making noise. Upon entering, move up while listening to a conversation between the guard and a woman. Once they finish, hide in the lower hall where the guard goes into a back room, leaving just one female NPC upstairs. Disarm her and grab Rosa's book by the window. Be mindful; two swords are available in the same room, which should be handed over to Hans and another prisoner.
On reaching the top floor, use the tower keys to unlock the door and rescue Hans and others, escorting them to the stables to open the main gate. As soon as the opportunity arises, rush over to Rosa’s location to avoid her relocating and failing the quest.
During the main quest 23: Dancing with the Devil, after taking Malyshov, speak with Otto. Know that he will take Rosa hostage and confine both of them in the same tower. Avoid threatening him about burning down the tower where Rosa is kept, as it may infuriate her due to Henry’s willingness to sacrifice her. Choose dialogue options that express a desire to rescue her, followed by the quest goals:
- “Let's make a deal” - choose any skill check; failing is acceptable.
- “I won’t let you put Rosa in danger”
- “I will do my best to save Rosa”
- “Yes, I will save Rosa”
Next, eliminate all enemies in the tower to free Rosa, who will be grateful and not upset at Henry.
Finally, during the main quest 24: The Prayers, return to her palace in Kuttenberg, defeat the enemies inside, and she will invite Henry to her room afterward. At this point, approach her by the courtyard pool and choose to kiss her to trigger the romantic cutscene. The sequence will proceed with dialogues such as “Everything will be alright,” “Allies are our greatest treasure,” and “I won’t let you leave,” resulting in completion of Rosa's dating storyline.
If the dialogue option to kiss Rosa is missing, it indicates that her favorability is insufficient or that a previous step was overlooked. After an enchanting night with Rosa, she will stand by the window, allowing for further interactions.
