As shown in the image, near the bandit patrol at Stone Tower Lake in Chapter 1, there are two bandits. After defeating them, you can sleep by the campfire for an hour, and two horses worth around 2000 will respawn. The horse merchant is nearby, so after selling the horses, you can return and sleep for another hour to respawn two more horses, which will have different colors.
