Quest Details
To begin the Bard side quest, speak with bards George and Michael at the inn located outside the Zeleny Hill stable.
Next, head to the carpenter's house in Troskovice. If you speak with the carpenter outside, he will tell you that he won't sell you the lute, but he will mention that his father enjoys mead. Enter the carpenter's house, give his father some mead, and you will then be able to steal the lute. If you don't have mead, you can wait until his father goes to sleep before stealing it.
After acquiring the lute, return it to George and Michael, then find the gamekeeper Vostak, who will trade you the gut for the lute strings.
Finding Vostek at the Wedding Feast
At the wedding feast, Vostek invites you to find him for a chat. He will share some of Lord Borsh's secret dealings with you.
Buying Sheep Intestines from the Butcher
Head over to the butcher in Troskovets to buy some sheep intestines. The "sheep offal" mentioned on other pages refers to this.
Exchanging Intestines for Strings
Use the sheep intestines to obtain strings for a lute, and then hand them over to George and Michael. They owe the tavern owner some money for drinks, and they can repay him by digging a latrine or carrying sacks. If you have the coin, you can pay the tavern owner directly. In the end, they will perform a heartfelt song for you.
