The miller's book is located beneath the guard tower at the northwest corner of Trosky Castle. Exit the castle area and pass through the gate next to the gallows. Follow the small path along the outer edge of the castle until you reach the cliffs beneath the guard tower, where you can find the corpse of Nikvard. In the corner, you can pick up the book titled "Secrets of the Illuminated." You can skip all optional objectives to find this book directly and complete the quest.
