The "Lake of the Axe" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II requires players to possess blacksmithing skills. At the Talmberg tavern, find the storyteller "Big Mouth" Zdeněk to listen to the story.
Head to the lakeside and locate the dock mentioned in the story.
Then climb up from here until you find an old oak tree.
Continue upwards until you see the rocks from the story.
Moving forward, near the top of the mountain, you’ll find a grave. Dig it up to obtain the broken axe.
Head to blacksmith Ladovan and use the forge to craft the "Decorative Axe". You can buy the necessary materials from the blacksmith. After crafting the Decorative Axe, return to tell "Big Mouth" Zdeněk.
