If you are not fond of exploring underground passages or have claustrophobia, I recommend heading directly to the scribe's house (where I handed over the quest to Master Sindel at the same location, making it convenient for a return visit). I have completed the underground passage, and there are quite a few items to collect inside. If you progress through the main storyline quickly, exploring down here should generally be sufficient. There are numerous merchants involved in smuggling in Kuttenberg, and the entrance to this scribe's cellar passage is (very easy). In contrast, the entrances to other tailors', armory, and weapon smiths' homes are (difficult) or (extremely difficult). If you are not getting robbed, who is?
