For the equipment, I suggest using the Horse Armor + Dragon Saddle + Racing Horseshoes. There's not much to say about this setup. For the horse gear, I prefer the Haggermore Gear, which adds 1 point to courage, bringing it to a total of 30. Previously, I used the Viron Gear, which increases speed by 1 point but reduces carrying capacity by 10. It didn't add courage, which was a struggle for my perfectionist tendencies.
