Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Short Trip Side Quest Guide
The side quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II can be quite tedious, and many players struggle to find certain checkpoints within these quests. Below is a guide for the Short Trip side quest that we hope will be helpful to you.
Starting the Quest
Head to Semy, and trigger the cutscene in Lord Semy's mansion yard. After defeating Jurok, you’ll meet Lord Semy and Captain Gnarly. Engage in conversation with Captain Gnarly, and the kitchen and the barn loft southwest of the yard will temporarily be accessible to you. After completing the quest, these areas will be off-limits. You can interact with Jurok in the yard.
Following Lord Semy
Early in the morning, find Lord Semy and ride alongside him. (If you don’t have a horse yet, retrieve your horse "Little Grey" from the stable behind Lord Semy.)
Visiting the Town Hall
Don't worry if you lose the duel; head to the Troskovice Town Hall to ask the governor for information, then continue following Lord Semy.
Investigating the Cemetery
When you reach an intersection near the cemetery, examine the bag on the ground.
Discovering a Cart
Arriving at Apolonia, you will find a cart on the small path.
Reconnaissance at the Enemy Camp
Scout the enemy camp and then return to discuss tactics. You can either rush in or provide support from a higher vantage point. After eliminating the enemies, you can loot keys that can be used to open chests inside the camp.
Defeating the Bandit Leader
After taking down the second camp, the bandit leader Guless will surrender. Find the escaped worker Vunza near the first camp and capture him. (It is not recommended to choose “You leave me no choice” as it will lead to immediate combat.) If you opt for “Can't you think of another way?”, he will provide you with a treasure map. After obtaining the treasure map, you can still choose to capture him.
This treasure map should be viewed vertically. The treasure location is as follows. Let Sir Semis wait a moment; find the treasure location first and then return to catch a ride with Sir Semis.
During the ride, you can listen to the conversation of three prisoners, and then return to report to the blacksmith.
