The Falcon Hunt Walkthrough in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

If you're diving into the side quests of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the Falcon Hunt quest offers a rich opportunity to gather resources and experience. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to successfully complete this engaging quest, ensuring you make the most out of your adventure.

Your journey begins when the game’s gamekeeper, Vorstak, tasks you with capturing poachers. Head to the starting campsite near the woods, where you can locate the poachers’ camp. Here, you will find various resources—pots of food, a bed for resting, and more.

Although Vorstak suggests finding him at dawn or dusk, a unique mechanic in the game allows you to simply sleep in his bed, which will prompt him to appear before you—as if to say he was just waiting for you to make yourself comfortable! This quirky aspect adds a fun twist to your questing experience.

When you engage in conversation with the poacher, be sure to ask about the ambush you experienced with the young lord at the lakeside. If you choose to let him go, he will share information regarding two valuable deer hunting spots with you. Upon returning to Vorstak, he not only acts as a mentor but permits you to rest in the stables, providing yet another free bed option.

Vorstak will then send you after another poacher. Travel to the Vedrak Lake and speak with the blacksmith. While the blacksmith doesn’t operate a shop, his wife does—feel free to browse her goods!

Next, have a chat with the fisherman and his spouse. Proceed north into the woods to locate the poacher's camp. If you manage to capture him and turn him over for punishment, don’t forget to loot the corpse hanging from the tree.

Afterward, return to Vorstak, who will send you off to find another gamekeeper in a location south of your current position. Upon reaching the Nebakov mill, converse with the gamekeeper, Valer, and assist him in capturing his own poacher.

Valer can also point you towards the grave digger, who may have additional information regarding the poacher you seek. You'll want to comb through the camp thoroughly for every hidden item—it’s here you can find a book and the poacher’s dagger. Command your trusty dog to track the scent of the dagger, leading you to the poacher.

Once you've dealt with the wolf pack that threatens both you and the poacher’s body, head back to Valer for further instructions. Your adventure continues as you seek the final mysterious poacher, with the option to pay for lodging at Valer's place if you need to rest.

Your quest culminates at Trosky Castle, where an archery range provides maintenance for your bow and arrows. As you progress to the northeast corner of the map, the last poacher awaits, cunningly concealed among the rocks.

To your surprise, you’ll discover that the final poacher is none other than the young lord himself! He has inadvertently complicated matters for Henry, and the narrative continues to unfold as you uncover deeper layers of intrigue. Upon returning to Valer, the truth may elude him, regardless of how you choose to present it.
