Unlocking the Quest for "Dai Dai" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the quest involving the dog named "Dai Dai" engages players in a series of intriguing tasks aimed at locating this elusive canine. Players must navigate through various clues and encounters to succeed. This guide aims to help you efficiently complete the quest and track down "Dai Dai."

The adventure begins at the cliff where you previously fell. Here, you'll encounter a bandit who also met the same unfortunate fate. A wandering man nearby is scavenging through the bandit's remains. Be cautious, as he may initiate an attack. Defeating him can yield some valuable weaponry and equipment.

Next, examine the remains of the bandit and nearby, you'll find a dead deer. Head to the herbologist, Bozenna, who is located to the east. She can provide insights critical to your quest.

Your journey will lead you to the Zhelejov Stable. This spot features amenities such as a tavern and bathhouse, where you can heal, clean your clothes, and refresh yourself. The smokehouse allows you to make preserved meats that offer long-lasting food supplies for your adventures. Talk to the tavern owner to gather details about "Dai Dai" and other pivotal information, including the mention of an ungrateful lad who previously visited without paying.

You can also join a fighting competition under the tavern owner’s guidance; however, a participation fee is required. An efficient strategy is to wait until later when visiting the miller to have him cover your costs.

For a one-night stay, it costs 12 groszy, but if you save up to 120 groszy, securing permanent accommodation is a smarter investment. This means future visits will not incur any lodging charges. Your designated room is located upstairs with a floral wreath adorning its door. Supplies await your collection in the room, and you may utilize a personal storage area.

To track down "Dai Dai," head north to Lake Vidrak and consult fishermen for information. Moving eastward, find a shepherd named Siegfried to gather more leads, but be prepared to deal with his requests of eliminating nearby wolf threats.

Siegfried will reward you with a carrot—essential for leading a sheep named "Ignatius" to the designated tree for feeding. Once done, you must wait for the wolves to appear at the hideout. After eliminating them, return to Siegfried for your rewards.

Before the next steps, you must fulfill a task for the gamekeeper, Vostak. Once completed, he will divulge the whereabouts of "Dai Dai." Your search will lead you to a camp of vagabonds, where a showdown with the wolf pack awaits. Commanding "Dai Dai" to attack enemies enhances your combat effectiveness, allowing you to focus on striking without worrying about hitting your loyal companion.

With your new ally's assistance, you can successfully vanquish the wolf pack, leading you to a cave where treasures such as a sword, armor, and jewels await discovery.
