To complete the main quest, assist the blacksmith in locating the missing cart. Regardless of whether you kill the laborer, you will obtain the treasure map; if you choose not to kill him, simply persuade him to bribe you. Additionally, do not be fooled by the game's large map. Although the routes may resemble the roads on the big map, they are actually not the same location.

According to the hand-drawn map, it is evident that the reference point used for the route is the bonfire. We just need to rotate the map and compare it with the bonfire's location to discover that the true treasure-hiding spot is among some scattered rocks, which is where I am positioned.
