Bone Gathering Locations in Monster Hunter Wilds
The bone materials in Monster Hunter Wilds can be collected from bone piles. Many players may not be clear about where to find these bone piles. Below is a map of all bone pile locations and recommended gathering routes in Monster Hunter Wilds, which we hope will be helpful to everyone.
About Bone Collection Methods and Bone Pile Refresh Times
Gathering from bone piles can yield bone materials. In addition, bone materials can also be obtained by carving monsters or as quest rewards. The specific types of materials depend on the monsters and quest types. Bone piles are marked with yellow question mark icons on the map, which can be filtered on the map interface at the bottom left according to collectibles. Then, you can click on the bone piles while mounted to navigate automatically.
Bone Pile Locations and Collection Tips in Monster Hunter Wilds
The number of bone piles in the Crimson Forest and the Icefog Crags varies based on the environment, with the most bone piles appearing during the Fallow Period. Therefore, it is recommended to gather during this time.
The refresh time for bone piles is approximately 15 minutes after collection; waiting around 15 minutes will allow that bone pile to respawn. You can check the refresh time on the map interface by clicking on the already collected areas.
It is advisable to equip the Geology skill when collecting bone materials (by wearing armor with this skill or embedding geology jewels into your armor) as this can increase the quantity of items gathered. Be mindful that different types of bone materials can be obtained in low and high rank environments. Once you unlock high rank, new bone materials will appear. If you wish to collect low rank exclusive materials, you can do so by repeatedly completing low rank optional quests.
Additionally, monsters can turn into bone piles after a certain time once they are defeated. Similar to regular bone piles, collecting these bone piles will provide bone materials. Monsters killed by non-players may also turn into bone piles. The bone materials that can be collected from bone piles are as follows.
