About Fishing
In Monster Hunter Wilds, players can obtain crafting materials or complete quests through fishing. Many players may not be familiar with the spawning locations of various fish. Below is a list of fishing locations and the types of fish that can be caught in Monster Hunter Wilds. We hope this information is helpful to everyone.

At the fishing spots, equip your fishing rod, and follow the button prompts to start fishing. When a fish bites, controllers will provide vibration feedback, while PC players can judge if a fish has bitten by observing the intense splashes on the screen and the disappearance of button prompts. During fishing, you can change your bait according to the button prompts in the lower right corner. Some fish will only bite when using specific bait.
Using the Capture Net to Fish
In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can use a capture net to catch fish. Unlike fishing rods, the capture net allows you to catch multiple fish at once when a school of fish appears. However, the throwing distance of the net is shorter than that of the fishing rod, so you may need to find the right distance to use it.
