For players looking to understand how to take it down, below is a guide brought to you by “Wioud” detailing the combat strategies and material drops of the Frost Dragon. We hope it will assist everyone in their hunt.
Monster Information
The Frost Dragon, a sea dragon species, reigns at the top of the Ice Fog Cliffs ecosystem. Known for its massive form that moves slowly in super-low temperatures, it is named the Frost Dragon for its ability to generate extreme cold from various cooling organs throughout its body. This allows it to not only freeze its limbs but also maneuver gracefully on steep cliffs and floating rocks, making it a formidable attacker.
Location
Ice Fog Cliffs.
Weaknesses
The Frost Dragon has two primary weak points: its mouth and chest. Additionally, the head, limbs, and various frost-encased areas can be broken, all of which have a higher probability of yielding valuable materials upon defeat.

Counter Techniques
Attacks and Responses
Charge Attack
Frostfang Barioth will raise its claws and stand up to charge before slamming down directly in front of it, causing area damage. Due to its slower movements, it's easy to notice this attack's wind-up; simply move away to avoid it.
Bitten Attack
Frostfang Barioth will turn its head towards the target and open its mouth, completing the charge after about 2 seconds before biting down on the target. You can identify the type of attack by observing the monster's mouth position.
Pounce Attack
Frostfang Barioth raises one hand and lets out a roar to charge, then lunges directly at the target. Due to its large size, the lunge speed is not very fast, so moving to the side makes it easy to evade.
Claw Attack
Frostfang Dragon Attack Patterns
The Frostfang Dragon places its claws in front of its chest, briefly charging with a layer of ice, then slams down on one side of its claws.
Tail Whip
Before using this move, the Frostfang Dragon exhibits a noticeable tail wiggle and remains stationary, while its head turns toward the attack location. It's best to move away to avoid this attack.
Ice Mist Breath
This move starts with zero frames, featuring almost no wind-up. The mouth may not initially reveal the white mist. The breath attack will first be unleashed in a straight line, followed by a horizontal blast. The best moment to evade this is during the initial straight-line breath, then quickly find cover to dodge the subsequent horizontal breath.

Understanding the One-Hit Kill Technique of Frostfang Barioth
The Frostfang Barioth has a devastating one-hit kill technique. After a brief charging period, it envelops itself in ice, creating rocks on the battlefield. Players must seek shelter behind these rocks to wait for the attack to finish. If the charge concludes and you have not taken cover, you will be instantly eliminated.
