How to Efficiently Save Gold Crown Monsters for Research Quests
When you discover a monster with a gold crown, you can press [Touchpad → □ Button] to open the monster list. Select the target gold crown monster and press [× Button] to save it as a research quest (maximum of 50 can be saved). After completing the area investigation, you can also check recent encounters and resave quests through Alma.
This feature allows players to repeatedly challenge three monsters of the same size, with a maximum of nine players sharing the quest (one person initiates the hunt + three research quests). Since the Silver Crown monster is guaranteed to appear, players only need to save 50 out of the remaining 51 gold crown monsters as research quests to assist others in quickly obtaining relevant trophies, thus shortening the originally complex and lengthy collection process to just a few hours.
Quickly Refresh Monster Locations on the Map
At your personal campsite or portable grill, select "Rest" to adjust the weather and time on the map, which will reset the distribution of monsters throughout the entire map. If the target monster still does not appear, you can repeat this operation until it does.

Offline Gold Crown Farming
Utilize the progress bar shown on the map for quest refreshes. About 30 seconds before the refresh, manually save your game (ensure it’s no less than 30 seconds). If the monster refreshes and does not drop the Gold Crown, exit to the main menu without saving. Reload your previous save and repeat the process (you can attempt this every minute). Be cautious: the save time must maintain a 30-second interval from the refresh time; otherwise, it may lock you into fighting monsters of the same size. Please ensure you maintain offline status while using this method.
Switching Online Lobbies
Continuously switch online lobbies to find rooms with quests that feature the desired Gold Crown monsters. This method may be less predictable than offline farming but can still yield great results.
