If you want to understand the functionality of the script system, please check the example scripts and numerous mods created for Monster Hunter Rise using the RE framework.

Installation Instructions

Simply extract the dinput8.dll file from the compressed folder into the installation directory of Monster Hunter Wilds.

You can open the menu by pressing the “Insert” key.

Scripts can be installed in the “reframework/autorun” folder.

Plugins can be installed in the “reframework/plugins” folder. Standalone DLL files without the RE framework functionalities can also be loaded here.

If the RE framework cannot access the current game directory for some reason, it will use the files located in the “%APPDATA%/REFramework” folder. Scripts and plugins should also be placed in that folder.

Temporary Uninstallation of RE Framework

To temporarily uninstall the RE framework, simply remove the dinput8.dll file from the game directory.

For a complete uninstallation of the RE framework along with all mods, you will also need to delete the reframework folder, re2_fw_config.txt, re2_framework_log.txt, and reframework_crash.dmp files (if they exist).
