Finding the Rare Beetle and Jewel Beetle in Monster Hunter Wilds
The Gem Beetle and the Rare Gem Beetle can be found at the roots of large trees in the Crimson Forest, specifically in areas 2 and 3. They are usually easier to spot on the brown tree sap. It’s recommended to depart straight from the main camp or set up a simple base nearby, rest, and adjust the environment to a bountiful state for improved chances of finding them.
The Rare Gem Beetle doesn’t flee when approached and is larger than the regular Gem Beetle, easily identifiable due to its purple-red color. Simply approach and use the capture net to catch it.
