Introduction to Dual Blades in Monster Hunter Wilds

The dual blades in Monster Hunter Wilds are easy to pick up and offer high damage output. So how should you equip them in the late game? Below is a recommendation for a dual blade build presented by "灬德芙灬". I hope you find it useful.

Recommended Dual Blade Build

Here is what I believe to be the most cost-effective dual blade build, achieving a good balance between attack, defense, and sustainability.

Performance Statistics

Record: 6'13" against the Furious Rajang, 7'8" against the Black Dragon (I am a bit clumsy, and if a pro uses this build, they could definitely achieve better results).

Attack Power

With over 400 attribute damage and a 90% critical hit rate, this build maximizes output when combined with elemental weapons, combo skills, and the Black Dragon set effects.

Equipment Overview

黑蝕龍套裝 輸出提升

Defense and Survival

With level 3 protection, you can avoid being instantly killed, while level 2 evasion performance increases your tolerance. Personally, I find it to have the best feel. The Dragoon armor set also provides a slight HP recovery.

Durability

Combining level 3 sharpness and level 3 craftsman ensures that you won't need to sharpen your weapon before monster transitions. Level 5 runner reduces stamina consumption.

Amulet

Use a level 2 combo amulet.

Weapon Maintenance

The priority for upgrades should be critical rate > elemental damage > attack power > sharpness.

Strategy Expansion

This build can also be used with other weapon types. You can swap the combo amulet and jewels for challenge or power release.

PS: The Dragonbreaker - Craftsman is really hard to farm; it's been quite a while and I still haven't obtained it.
