Monster Hunter Wilds: Unlocking the Ultimate Sword Build
In Monster Hunter Wilds, players have the freedom to customize their gear. So, how should you configure the ultimate sword build? Below, we’ll explore the top recommendations brought to you by “Rumble.” We hope this will be helpful for everyone!
Set 1: The Basics
This set is straightforward, focusing on maximizing damage with a Sword and 10 Critical Rate; it's an excellent choice for high damage output.
Set 2: The Recommended Build
The second set is what I recommend, with a focus on 20-40 Critical Rate. If you only have 20 Critical Rate, you will typically only achieve 80 at a time unless you hit a weak spot. The highlight of this set is the Guardian Spirit Level 3, but you may also change it to a corresponding elemental resistance level 3. Moreover, the level 4 Guardian's Lock allows you to recover significant health when you successfully hit a weak spot, recovering half a health bar with one hit. Combined with the Blade Lock Level 5, creating weak spots becomes much easier, making it feel like you’re countering bloodsucking attacks, which is incredibly satisfying. This build offers high defense along with recovery options.
Understanding Team Dynamics in Monster Hunter Wilds
One of the disadvantages of this setup is that team members can easily steal healing opportunities. Once a healing spot is taken, you won't be able to recover your health again.
