How to Quickly Obtain Old Dragon Coins in Monster Hunter Wilds
Many players in Monster Hunter Wilds are unsure how to quickly acquire Old Dragon Coins. Below is a farming method brought to you by “l930605” that we hope will help everyone.
Farming Method
1. First, head to the cave lake camp in area 8 of the forest (the location is shown in the image; you can find the camp site after passing through the waterfall). Enter the camp, spend 300 points to rest, and select the Harvest Period and Morning (I'm not sure if the time affects the drop rate, but I happened to do it in the morning, so I didn’t change the time).
2. After leaving the tent, you can see a platform to the right (you may encounter many Molyba fishing there). Walk to the lakeside, and you will find a bunch of Goldenfish and Platinumfish. Using a net to catch some of them can earn you over 300 points, which will cover the resting cost you just incurred.
Fishing for Coin in Monster Hunter Wilds
This lake also has a chance to encounter the challenging fishing mission for the Gorgeous Shield Stone Snail. If you're completing the mission, remember to fish and not scoop!
Additionally, this fishing platform may also have a chance to meet the Ancient Cup Crab (the platform where Moriba is fishing in the picture). Take a moment to look around and grab an extra coin while you're there!
At this point, you can notice something shining on the ground directly opposite the lake—that’s the Old Dragon Sculpture Coin!
How to Reach the Opposite Platform
The way to the opposite platform is to return to the tent and walk straight out in front of it. You will find a spot to dive over. Once you dive over, you can collect an Old Dragon Sculpture Coin!
After collecting, return to the tent, select Harvest Period, and take a rest at the same time. You can repeat these steps to quickly farm coins!
If done quickly, you can collect around 20 coins in just 1 to 2 minutes, and it’s completely cost-free!
